What is light and fun about a guy who was dragged into being the kid sidekick of a crazy vigilante 5 minutes after his parents were murdered?
Or a teenage girl with pretty much Satan for a father?
Or a runaway alien slave girl trying to stay away from her intergalactic slave masters and murderous sister?
The only light and fun character is Beast Boy and that is only because the stories about him being all depressed and sad happened back in the 1960s and all modern appearances had writers making him the happy go lucky guy who embraces his freakishness.

And aside from Teen Titans Go! the Titans as a property has never been light and fun. There have been light and fun moments but overall the Titans have been dark and depressing as fukk. Even the Teen Titans cartoon wasn't light and fun. It was mostly serious with light touches.
Don't let @Bruce Wayne hear you say that :lolbron:

It's profanity which makes it get a mature rating.

i'm not talking about the rating, i'm talking about the content of the show. having profanity doesn't automatically suggest some greater level of sophistication, not in a show about people in silly costumes with names like starfire and beast boy.

it's not edgy, it's just stupid.

I don't think anyone was mentioning any levels of sophistication with this show. It is a comic book show by the guy who gave us Arrow and Riverdale...sophistication aint on the menu.
The conversation has been about people talking like the Titans as a property don't lend themselves to a darker style.

and let me guess. marvel does with Iron Fist ??

please take your bias elsewhere if you cant even critique properly

DC has given dope Arrow, Flash, Legends and Black Lightning.. but 1 show you dont like and its ''they dont get it''

idiotic fanboys are the worst
I stopped watching Arrow, Flash, and Legends. I never seen Black Lightning.

I never finished Jessica Jones 2, I haven’t even touched Luke Cage 2, and I haven’t even peeped the new Iron Fits trailer

With that said, I currently prefer DC comic books over Marvel.

And I am looking forward to this DC service especially if the service allows assess to the DC library of books.

How am I a fanboy?

It's not the f-bomb that makes the trailer comedy. It's the line and the comical violence leading up to it.

Robin stabs a guy in the neck and steps on some dude's jaw. There's a generic crunching sound and a wilhelm scream before he says it. It's hilarious.
