I honestly don't know what actress can be the Bride in a live action movie

She's very statuesque and fit and has confidence thru the roof. If this was 25 years ago maybe Angelina Jolie could do it but now I don't know who it would be

Yeah, the could just get the voice actress Indira Varma to do it. The first time I saw her in Luthor :wow:
Gunn's own words are that voice actors will play the roles in live action and vice versa.

But him snitching on the princess was only gonna make them wanna kill her

If clayface didn’t validate the vision they would have left her alone

Timeline on it was a bit confusing.

Either the real professor was the one who validated the vision, then Clayface killed her and started acting goofy as her to cast doubt to Flag.

Or Clayface killed her and validated the vision knowing that Flag would look into her and find out she wasn't reliable and not believe Circe.

I liked it and I have some thoughts on it that I will get into later.

I will say that one day we’re gonna find out that James Gunn had to damn near fist fight David Zaslav to get this show green lit because holy fukk was that ending rushed and damn near nonsensical. this show clearly would’ve benefited from longer/more episodes but I imagine Gunn had to settle for 7 eps/22 mins each.

Def felt rushed, every episode flew by… I also found out interesting what happened to Flagg and that he had no involvement in the finale at all, yet we know he’s back and good in Superman?

Plus clayface being killed off when he has a movie coming

Clayface acting goofy to pull flag back in was the plan after rewatching

so my thoughts:
In many ways, I am fukking SICK AND TIRED of DC trying to make their own GoTG. While I get why they want it ("wait, we can use all these goofy ass comic book characters by putting them on a lovable losers team together?"), i never really was a huge fan of the GoTG and the Suicide Squad concept has been run into the ground as far as Im concerned.

With that said, I grew up a DC kid so I love diving into the toy box of little known DC characters. I like that each of the Creatures have pretty well fleshed out backstories and you understand why theyre personalities are the way they are.

What i didnt like was how constrained the whole series is. Clear as day that Gunn was told "soft launch this and keep the story elements light enough that we can pivot toward or away from it at any point".

Like there was so many ways they couldve made the Pokolistan Princess thing more intriguing (have it so that shes a proxy for a Darkseid/Dominators invasion? Trying to summon Mordru?) but that wasnt the intent.

The main focus was just to see if people even have interest in a Creature Commandos concept. In a lot of ways thats pretty in line with how Zaslav feels about animation (in that. he hates it) so the fact that the show was even greenlit should be appreciated.
