I don't even disagree fam, but lil homie played a VERY dangerous game and caught a FAFO. There are serious consequences involved when you start doing criminal shyt no matter the age. I woulda charged it to the game, but there's plenty of people who don't play that shyt. And more importantly are TIRED of the shyt.
A guy just posted this in DC nextdoor app 30 mins ago.
Crime: just happened. I was just at the CVS at 12th and Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. I witnessed four males enter the store and steal large amounts of soda cases, detergent and other items…arms full. I saw them enter a vehicle…I noted the tags. I asked the cashiers are they going to report and I have the tags. Cashier said “no, this happens every day…” it gets crazier….a minute later one of the males came back!!!! He calmly walked down an aisle and grabbed more stuff! Walked out smiling! ….it gets more insane! Another of the criminals came back!!! He calmly walked in and grabbed more stuff!!!!! I followed him out and called 911 and reported the vehicle tags, the multiple crimes that were occurring real time….and I advised the getaway vehicle is parked! Exact location. I said send a f@&ing car! I said you must have a car somewhere in the vicinity! The getaway car was still parked!!!! The offenders were inside the car laughing and stuff they stole was falling out ….this was like a bad comedy ….
It gets better! Or worse sadly……..I kid you not….dispatch advised “we don’t follow cars in DC” ….”we’ll take a report”…..
I could not have served an easier softball to Metro PD….this is what any young officer would (normally) want to jump on and let the community know MPD is here, we care and we act. These are the crimes that make offenders go bigger and bigger over time….

Karon never had a chance. Look at his dad bragging about the fit and cost of his son's funeral outfit. This young boy never had a chance. Probably trying to follow in his fathers footsteps. "$1800 for the fit, Ya'll know I how I'm coming"...... That line pisses me off so bad.

DC police DGAF out here. This is why a lot of residents are tooled up. A lot of people also stopped riding the bus and train because of how much fukkery goes on with them bad ass kids. Got many a story of kids fighting adults on metro.

Hopefully the details of the confrontation emerge, and we can make judgements of what happened based on the facts.
That poster clearly said "the perpetrators of theft usually run away" if you hit the lights or they hear you coming.. If a thief decides to stay around and confront you, instead of running, then the owner of the property has the right to use reasonable force to protect themselves. Now its up to the criminal justice lawyer to find fault in said homeowner.
