The police chief just said via a press conference that the shooter is a black man. There's so many layers to this case

From what i hear there is a serious disconnect between the city and the PD...not to mention the criminal justice system in the city has needed reform for more than 30 years....<<<until they fix this all the programs and services they provide to youth and families won't make a difference..


A lot of black couples with and w/o kids are jaded by DC mostly do to the politics especially the transplants who move here thinking DC was some type of black mecca.....You def gonna see a migration to the burbs if its not already happening...




If I had to guess nah, I know this area pretty well....Most the homeowners are either cacs or older black folks...Hispanics are concentrated a lil further up and there for the most part typical working class

I checked the demographics of the area where the shooting happened and it's 48% hispanic, 4% white and the rest black. Seems like the shooter might have been latino. Aren't a lot of them moving there now?

Yeah nah that area is mostly white and black, most Hispanics in the DC area live in teh suburbs or in NW
