I know it's a but I think they did this because the fans were complaining about Superman being too OP = him being boring. They may be trying to give him limits to make him appear relatable but I think it could backfire.

Yeah, people on Reddit are already showing their distain for it. I'm pretty optimistic about this film, I think it has potential to be great.

Don't envy anyone trying to make superman work for a massive audience in today. I think ppl are pretty evenly split in what they want to see. Some want that superman wholesome rescuing ppl from suicides and kittens in trees. Others want that big loud epic punching darkseid in the face shyt.

We could've had both if Snyder had somewhat of an understanding of Superman's character. But if this movie does well we could get a mix of both.

I think going the Oscar bait route is smart. DC got groundwork in that lane with Joker.
