:yeshrug:

And then there’s the game’s visual, which are as good as you will find in an open world game - matching even RDR2.

No disrespect breh but again you’re losing me here, like I said in the edit of my last post, by no means a bad game, I thought it was fun, but this game is not on the level of any of the games you mentioned

(apart from the movement, I’d put most games above RDR2 in that respect)

*sigh*

Breh, if the game was made with open world in mind it wouldn't be bad.

Breh :snoop:

It probably wouldn’t be bad, but that story has a sense of urgency, that’s why it being linear works, with it being open world new gameplay elements have to be added and for all that space to be justified, otherwise you have another walking simulator, it needs side stuff ect. to not make the world feel so empty.

Some games balance this well like the Witcher, but still it had a running meme for a long time that instead of racing to save your adopted daughter the main character is running around collecting playing cards lol, but TW3 isnt set in a post apocalyptic world like LOU or Days Gone, and Days Gone suffered badly with story pacing issues because of padded filler main missions to justify having something to do around its big world. An open world would not fit the story/writing of TLOU..at all

Disagree, you're not thinking logically, if the game was made with open world in mind it would still work. Like how the game was made with linear in mind it worked. You're only thinking with what you know, and not the multiple possibilities, you seem like a breh that doesn't understand the concept of alternate universes :francis:

Lol, I’m not being close minded, you just missed my point, I just talked on if it was made with open world in mind, but I’m gonna repeat it anyway, if the game was made to be open world, then other elements need to be introduced, like side quests, things that take you of course of the main story so the big open world has a reason to be there, this does not work with The story and writing of TLOU, so if the game is made to be open world bits would have to be adjusted, not just gameplay but probably big parts of the narrative since main story beats are further apart, padding is added, the tension and urgency of the story is stripped away..even the camera isn’t going to be focused the same way nor are the interiors going to be as explorable or detailed, so regarding this discussion..it’s kinda pointless, because you take all that away and we’re not really talking about the same game anymore are we?

in fact, ironically...what you have left is something similar to Days Gone lol

It would be better because of minor details Days Gone didn't have.
Invisible flashlight, crafting animations, wouldn't be a problem. a believable story coupled with Open world would be better than Days Gone. There's no debate lol.

I think we are arguing two different things lol my point is TLOU would suffer from being open world as opposed to linear, you’re arguing an open world LOU would be better than an open world Days gone (which it probably would be lol)

Brehs.,. I ran into my first horde when getting lavender for Boozer and I ran like a bytch. I didn’t have the fire power to deal with them even fully stocked. I have level two trust with Tucker so I have the machine gun with 35 per Clip... but surely that’s not enough to deal with a horde?

Any rips because I knew with the calibre of weapons I have so far, I’m not match for a horde.
