Unfairly hated upon. I remember watching it for the first time years ago and actually being surprised how good it was after all the shytty reviews. I liked everything except for the "romance" angle between him and that female ape. I mean I know Cacs gonna Cac and all... But that bytch is an APE dude

Its underwhelming because its a set up movie. Its only there to set up the sequels. I didn't mind it so much though but its kinda forgettable. Sequels should be more epic of course.
