Wait......people think Living Single invented the concept of an ensemble cast of young twenty somethings interacting with each other? :dahell:

Neither show did that. Unless taking an already existing concept and adding more people to it equals "creating the template."

White people have to start keeping their woke thoughts to themselves and Black Twitter has to stop pretending to care about some obscure black example of something to wield in a Twitter war and forget about it the next day.

This is an example of Liberal Twitter eating itself by the way.
What show did that before Living Single? I’m not asking to be a dikk, but I think an ensemble show focused on friends without children is unique.

Also the characters were similar too.

Melrose’s Place is one that comes to mind immediately

Hell I even argue 90210 had similar adult orientated storylines too at a time that it wasn’t really popular to do them.

Let’s not be revisionists and act like Living Single was some can’t miss series.

Dude is using one of the biggest shows in history to promote some form of equality in a profession where black people rarely get a role, much less an entire cast.

You're comparing two effective prime time soap operas to a comedy ensemble show.

Facebook is pretty big and Myspace was but let's not pretend that BlackPlanet didn't exist first. BlackPlanet may never get the recognition it deserves but Myspace was a derivative of it and Facebook was a derivative of Myspace.

Yeah, Melrose Place and 90210 were like Knots Landing and Dallas. Those are soap operas and came on 9pm or after. Adult shows.

I may be wrong, but sitcoms either revolved around families or a couple at that point. They changed after.

Also, who said Living Single was a can’t miss series? Where did you read that? :heh:

I don't think Cheers was about family and that's from the 80s.
