No. The gameplay mechanics in mario make it so people can spend years improving and perfecting their skills.

People are still learning things and improving speed runs in SMB on nes.

Movie games are one and done. There’s no skills for you to improve on. Nothing for you to come back to unless you felt the story was just that good and you want to see it again.

They are on rails and you don’t have any agency over what happens. You don’t have you full move set. You just dodge when they tell you to and hit the correct qte sequence.

Ryse =Set piece, QTE, Movie, combat….repeat= Terrible shallow game, nobody likes QTE

Uncharted=Set piece, QTE, Movie, Combat….repeat=Amazing game best in the industry, That part where i had to mash the x button was so exhilarating.
