You can't make the assessment because it's a broad generalization. It requires knowledge of the individuals in question. None of what you are talking about even correlates to "most Black people not wanting to be Black". Making that statement is also an indictment on the person making it if they aren't putting themselves under the same lens and validating that argument with makes them different.

Yes, what I said explain everything. If you had self respect for being black, you wouldnt let nobody pimp you. Look around, blacks have the lowest self esteem ever. If you had self respect for yourself, you wouldnt let white man tell you what you can be.
And I can make that generalization by studying history and now. What you think sociology is ? Studying groups of people and I can honestly say majority of black people don't like being black and don't wanna be free from other races.
A race of people who loves themselves wouldn't have to depend on other races for everything. A race of people who love being black wouldn't kill a reflection of someone who looks like them. Consciously, you might hear blacks say they live being black, but the unconscious runs you and unconsciously majority of blacks hate being black.
I studied psychology, so I get to the root of every problem.

So Latinos & Asians don't suffer from self esteem issues as well? Asians have built a great economic base for themselves, but a lot of them want to be white as well. African Americans marry each other at a much higher rate than any other group, so i don't subscribe to the theory that most of us hate being black.

" thats sum bullshyt....i do believe many blacks have bought into the white mans idea of happiness and success....and you see alot of black people who talk down on things we may enjoy culturally and define things that we do,or how some of us act as "ghetto".....all because whites have got into our heads and made some us feel ashamed for things we shouldnt be ashamed of....its just thimgs they may not understand or things they hate on because its not the "white way"

That's not what he's referring to and if he is, then he's included. Being pimped is a whole other issue. David Banner is speaking in general. He's not talking about being pimped. He's talking about Black people not wanting to be Black, but want to be accepted by white people to the point of denying or shying away from their Blackness.
Based on that, you can't make that generalization. It's not assessment because it's still based on an assumption. Even if you study groups of people, that doesn't mean "most". It's a sample size, which can be used as information to make an assessment about a group. It doesn't make it 100% accurate
You don't know or represent the majority of Blacks. You don't know their hearts, minds, or souls. Therefore you're not qualified to make that assessment. Neither is David Banner.
I don't care if you mastered in Pyschology, it has nothing to do with getting to the root of every problem. You're feeding into a fallacy based on a generalization.

It's more than him saying, I hate being black (as I hate the color of my skin) it's I hate being black because of what all I have to go through and what comes with being black. It's alot of folks that are like that, They don't want to accept being black and helping other black ppl, they would rather tear other blacks down and again, shuck and jive for white approval.

Me too. It just seems to be a bit too arbitrary or ambiguous? Not sure which one I'm supposed to use right here. But all in all, it just seems like such a reach to say something that strong with no evidence to back it up. I been riding with Banner since before Africans thought it was cool to ride with Banner.
