When I talk to people I know and grew up with I use nikka and I will probably do so until I die.

Another thing, alot of these conventions are really about hooking up, and vacationing, basically having something to do, a place to travel and having somewhere to hang and meet people

The n-word never made its way into my vocabulary. I wouldn't even feel comfortable saying it. I know the history of it, and see it for what it is. It doesn't describe me, my family or any of the black people I interact with on a regular basis. As far as the OP, this is why its important to know your audience.

The word N1gga is like a code word like abracadabra...now ignorant cacs coupled with southern accents used it as a way to insult us ...then being the resilient people that we are took the word back and used it as a term of endearment to combat the power the word had over us...at that point we won..because we just did fukkin magic turning a curse word into a good word....next thing you know...old cacs and slave minded c00ns wanted the word banished from our lexicon....
Some of my teachers even say that blacks using the word is heating up the kundalini of the planet which is good for Us (blacks) but bad for cacs...
