This is not all the way true. I was actually at a show Dave did in 2006 where he talked about why he walked away from the $50M. He said that’s when he met the “REAL white people.” He said it was like the money was sitting there in a pile, with a dikk on top of it. Those were his exact words. You can interpret that how you want.

I know he said some of those jokes he did on that scrapped 3rd season were racially irresponsible, but I think it was deeper than that.
