Gotta spend some time on the Worst of 2014. In the limited amount of movies that I saw, I only hated 3 movies. The rest of them are only there, due to me not seeing a lot of new films last year. Guess it doesn't matter though, since they're in the category. lol

Everyone should see it. It's on Netflix and it's like 80 minutes.

The cinematography is simple (in terms of camera movements), but stunningly beautiful. Damn near every frame of the movie is eye-candy. Even the use of the large amounts of head-space in the framing complements and strengthens the story. This ish is a gem.

Damn great list...I just watched edge of Tomorrow again and its not as good as when I fist saw it last summer...maybe I was in a great mood that day or something

i copped the blu day 1 but have not re-watched it since theaters..only peeped the special features

maybe i should this week.

I've tinkered with the order of my list a lot lately but i think its final.

there's only 1 or 2 films left from 2014 i have interest in seeing but i doubt they'll make the list

It just feels so much like Source Code and other stuff I've seen in the past but with better special effects. It does nothing for me now

I think Interstellar's greatness went over a lot of people's head. How is GOTG and Gone Girl better than that masterpiece of a film.

Just didn't work for me breh and I've said why in the thread about it. It looked incredible but the script kept kicking me in the balls. The fact that every character was basically basil exposition just bugged me and I couldn't get with that.

Yet, it's not nominated for hardly anything....

EDIT: OK, I checked Wiki and it has a lot of nominations. I still think it's not getting enough praise. I don't know anyone other than my husband who's seen it. Maybe that's just a mid-west problem.
