I'm just sayin its unrealistic how well his hearing ability is on a show aimed at realism. I wouldn't mind if he gained it supernaturally or experimentally but he's literally hearing pen clicks 100 feet away on a rooftop through a window (this actually happens on the show). I can't be the only one :heh:in' at this
Yeah. It's ridiculous how his superpowers aren't realistic.

Just finished it. Thought it started strong slight lul in the middle after trial and finished great. Was cool to see so much development of the chats with this season.

Also great to see the other Netflix chars get name dropped and woven in as well.

So your problem is his superpowers are TOO strong? :heh:

Nope I think they got it right... :heh: Watergun talk, cant believe it tho....

They copied it to a T from the comics... I mean think about it, your essentially blind but all the rest of your senses get souped up to the max times 1,000. Plus you can still essentially see in this fire movement filter all around you in 360 degrees you would be amazing. You could read body languages, tell who's lying, What a person ate, figure out complex chemical compounds by tasting them. Feel words by touching them on paper. Smell bombs, oils, fire... The possibilities are amazing...

But there are downsides to the powers... :francis:

That reminded me of a Grant Morrison quote
"A child can accept all kinds of weird-looking creatures and bizarre occurrences in a story because the child understands that stories have different rules that allow for pretty much anything to happen. Adults, on the other hand, struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it’s not real."

What makes you think this show is aimed at realism? Between the guy that was burned to death that came back and the ninjas attacking hospitals this is clearly a comicbook show. That's without getting into the other characters in that universe with unbreakable skin, super-strength and mind-control. His powers are portrayed as they are in comics.

Just finished the season. Damn! It's better than season 1. And it might be the best series of the year. I gotta see Narcos season 2 and Game of Thrones season 6 first, before I give it the title. But I gotta :salute: Marvel. I was fearful they would tone the Punisher down. I was definitely wrong. Punisher was beyond gully.

Can't wait for season 3.

It's aimed at realism in the sense that the unexplainable is explained. Jones, Cage, the superhuman characters all get their insane powers from experiments or whatever. It's not Nolan Batman or The Wire levels of realism but you get the feeling that the show isn't pulling impossible shyt out the ass and that it lets you suspend disbelief to a certain extent. I'm not counting any of this as a negative against the show, I thoroughly enjoyed the season, but they got a little carried away with his hearing prowess that was supposedly gained naturally

The explanation for Daredevil's powers is the made up chemicals that blinded him enhanced his other senses beyond any normal person. You just seem to want to have a problem with the level of enhancement.
