Episode 5 was a fun enjoyable episode but It's definitely the weakest episode so far in my opinion ( that one chick that was the married hostage was ) episode 6 was though I feel like they should have spent more time building up muse or saved him for season 2 I also feel like he was discovered way too easily should have been more of a mystery/wild goose chase. But other than those nitpicks both episodes were dope

You can definitely tell they pasted together this season with whatever material they had from the original version the other show runners had (that's why we don't see Karen. her and foggy were brought in for the reshoots) and the reshoots with the old Netflix show runners. We still have 3 episodes left so let's see how they piece this together and set up season 2.

Yeah I feel like they should have focused on the vigilantes vs NYPD storyline and saved muse for season 2. They making the same mistake they made for daredevil season 2 they should have just saved Elektra for season 3 and focused on the punisher instead of just cramming everything together and having to jump back and forth between stories. I'm hoping season 2 of born again has a singular storyline like season 1 and 3 of Netflix. But I'm curious about season 2 though cause ain't the multiverse about to die pretty soon

Episode 5 reminded me of those fun one off team up issues. A good bank job scenario is always my fav.


I never read a Muse comic. That’s a pretty cool idea.

Exactly…. Ep 5 really gave everyone everything they either was worried Daredevil wasn’t gonna have or wanted.

It completely eliminated the “bu bu bu but Disnet wont” shyt

Kingpin was mad violent on ol' boy and I could feel the rage coming off him. Thoroughly enjoyed that.

And Matt's praying while trying to revive the little girl was a great touch. Praying during, before, or after violence always gets me.

Havent watched ep 6 yet but ep 5 was absolutely fire. Classic daredevil shyt

Itll probably move forward the overall MCU narrative as well assuming that Matt actually goes to that dinner

There were reports very early on before the overhaul that this show had an episodic formula in the sense that each episode would be “day in the life” of Matt, obviously without the supporting cast of foggy/karen before they were brought back..

Which explains the Bank Heist and Store thief episodes, Especially as the Frank scene from last ep wasn’t intended to be in that ep either and was moved forward as it fit better there

Both episodes were dope. It was cool to see a one off episode with Matt saving the day without anyone really even noticing how much work he put in besides the assistant manager at the bank and all he really saw was Matt cracking the safe. The dead bodies hanging from the ceilings in Muse’s hideout on episode 6 was a nice touch.
