a lot of the netflix episodes would go by without any fights and focus on side characters

*I'll go against the grain here, but episodes 5 & 6 were my least favorite episodes of the show so far. Of course, there are moments that I like, but overall, not much of a fan of these episodes


*Hector's niece, Angela, is annoying (and stupid). I get that she's a little girl, but still.


*I really hope that Kamala Khan isn't the Marvel hero that they were referring to that will show up in this show. That would be disappointing as fvck. She's probably had the most manufactured superhero push of all time

I kinda felt like muse is lacking characterization and went out like a chump, but i didnt read his comic appearances so maybe he isnt some big mastermind type guy..idk. I expected some big plan or monologue.

Nah Muse liveaction definitely been nerfed in his powers and how he acts so far. He was charismatic as hell in the comic while being a psycho

I posted an article last week relating to Muse. The showrunner said that Muse will be a multi-season threat. So this isn't the last we'll see of Muse.

Exactly…. Ep 5 really gave everyone everything they either was worried Daredevil wasn’t gonna have or wanted.

It completely eliminated the “bu bu bu but Disnet wont” shyt

There are definite signs of how Disney-fied this was, before they got convinced that it wouldn't work with the established audience


The slow burn actually works. They managed to capture the pressure-cooker feel of two contrasting characters attempting to go against type and be better in their own way...and how it all crumbles for both of them. It's textbook Daredevil.


EDIT: I still think that Turk should have been a part of this. Too many of these secondary characters may as well be stage props.

Both episodes were great but no doubt Episode 5, the Bank Robbery one, was originally filmed before they supposedly scrapped everything and started over. It was a bottle episode with the first real ties to the bigger MCU with all the Ms. Marvel references. They probably re-did the fight scene outside and added more brutality to it with the blood and broken leg.
