Facts on facts. Just like newer jazz acts never surpassed what John Coltrane and Miles Davis put out we in the Kenny G era of rap.
Lmao good analogy. You talking some real shyt and so was Danny.
Last one was TPAB I believe even though I personally have DAMN just as high

Edit: Victory Lap? Blankface?
Me.Morale is one imo.

There's a conversation to be had but Danny was wrong with the first sentence

Most old nikkas ARE haters:manny: they try to use that constructive criticism excuse as a route to get off their bitterness

I don't think this is Danny Brown, because he's often embraced younger artists and really cares about his craft, but he's making a mistake speaking for everyone

I feel like there have been a couple albums, not on the mainstream radar that I’d call classci. but the stuff that gets heavy attention on here, or some form of social media, nah.. most of that shyt just comes and goes, gets over hyped, but is just average or ass, then no talks about it.

I think the old heads often invalidate themselves when they stop taking stylistic evolution into account.

Cuban Link is one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time. But that shyt sound lofi, slow, and old school to younger people. Times have changed.

A rap classic isn’t going to sound the same now as it did then.

Victory Lap isn’t a classic, but it’s a good album.

Burden Of Proof is the only album I would consider classic.
Victory Lap became a classic after Nip death

Burden of Proof ain’t a classic…I’ll say Tana Talk 3 is a new age underground classic along with the first FlyGod
