If the reports of Beal wanting to play in Boston are true, why give Brown up when we can just Sign Beal next off-season for free. All we basically need to do is let Fournier go this year, trade Al Horford Expiring deal next season and we’ll be able to sign Beal or any other Max player that wants to play in Boston.

I’ll be fine with not breaking the Bank for Marcus Smart and wait and see if Timelord can play a whole season before inking him to a ridiculous multi year contract.

Jaylen is 24 and two years before his prime years (26-31). If we don't see Jaylen and Tatum go through their prime years together just so we get 2 years of Beal in his prime while Tatum is not even in his prime, it's gonna be criminal. Tatum is a potential top 5 player, while Jaylen could be top 10, C's need to look long term and build a roster that's gonna maximize their prime years starting in two years.

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding

So just letting him walk and no sign and trade? :unimpressed:

New York has the cap space they have no incentive to help a division rival

the whole Gordon Hayward trade exception ended up being a huge miss. Should have waited until the off-season to use it like they kept saying they wanted to

at the very least they could have used it to take on a one year salary and get a pick or two out of it

You know things aren’t going well for Boston when our biggest win of the day is semi signing somewhere else

also we still don’t know if Tristan thompson is a Celtic or not

as a positive, there is good talent left for us to swoop in and grab on the cheap but it’ll help if we can move grant and/or carson

So basically this team is fukked for the foreseeable future and the only hope is Tatum's friendship with Beal being strong enough to convince him to sign here next year. And if they can get Beal to sign here then they'll have to cut bait with so many players that the team will just be Tatum, Brown, Beal and guys on minimum contracts.

3 years ago at this time it seemed like we had the brightest future in the East if not the whole NBA, and now we're a glorified treadmill team. shyt is sad.

I'd like Dragic on the MLE

The only silver lining I can see is that Celtics management is waiting on next off-season

And see how it plays out if Time Lord is worth the money, if he is worth his potential and not too injury prone, and to clear up cap space for another star to come
