If this was 1985 with those numbers (15-5) he’d be looked at as great, but not in this era. That’s pretty pedestrian if you ask me. Credit to Daboll for running the offense based on his strengths and not some ready made offense that DJ has to fit into.
Giants haven’t had anyone definitive to replace him and Daniel Jones has been killed in the public since the weeks leading up to the Draft…and even more so after he was drafted at #6 in 2019.
Nobody, including Giants fans, liked the pick from jump and many don’t trust him long term to this day. I still don’t, but I trust the staff either way.
Justin Fields has been the talk of the offseason because everybody is eager to see how he performs with DJ Moore now that he has a couple weapons.
A lack of WR weapons has been a big topic throughout Lamar Jackson’s entire career.
Daniel Jones isn’t great, Giants offense didn’t have much last year and he had a solid season. You spend a top 6 pick on a QB, you gotta let him play out the contract to see what up. He did that and earned himself another couple years.
