No more excuses for DJ. They got him Darren Waller and Saqoun is back. No excuses for any starting quarterback to have under 20 TDs. Especially in this pass happy era. :hubie:
I dont feel he deserves that contract. Daboll had to hide him all last year and took the ball out his hands in critical situations. He got better as the season went on but I don’t think he got it…

My Pops Forever RIP
Look I fukk with Trey Lance and I hope he succeeds Dak, but this ain't it.

A LOT of shyt went right for Daniel Jones for him to get his deal. He had to bet on himself and won big time. Meanwhile you basically wanted the Giants to let him walk. It's tough but realistically that wasn't gonna happen so he bent the Giants front office over.

Didn't the Giants have Kadarius Toney and Kenny Golladay, now I know Golladay fell off a cliff, but was that more him or Jones?
Golladay's hands turned into bricks the second he finished signing his contract. Toney got talent but his attitude was always something that could derail shyt and it did. His best game in a Giants jersey statistically was one where he got ejected for throwing a punch :shaq2: Him constantly clashing with the coaching staff led to him being "injured" all the time. Him leaving was beneficial to both sides.

Not saying Daniel Jones is a great or even good QB, but this is not a good comparison.

Daniel Jones was drafted to a bad team with really only Barkley as a real offensive weapon. The Giants were not a Super Bowl caliber team outside of Daniel Jones. That gave them more time for him, and allowed for him to have more chances than a QB of his caliber on a Super Bowl caliber team that needs to have a QB that can help them win.

The 49er's ARE a Super Bowl caliber team outside of their quarterback position. They aren't going to mess around and try to develop someone when they have the roster to win a Super Bowl. The window for teams in the NFL can be very small, even just one season. Not the same at all.

Where did I mention Trey?
