He's 23, can run mains with the best talent out there, that's the definition.

I get that you guys want to be contrarian, but you're just revealing how little you know.

Daniel Garcia ain't shyt, yet he won a tournament eventual WWE Champions weren't even able to get to the finals of lol
:mjlol:

And the fact two legends in the industry were going back and forth on who gets have him in their faction.

Some of y'all acting like him and Yuta won't go the Ospray route and bulk up in the coming years and let's be frank if Garcia had signed for WWE then some of y'all would be singing a different tune, matter of fact wasn't WWE interested in him prior to him joining AEW?

The Stooge World Order would be singing at the top of their lungs if Trips signed him. Garcia is 23 and Yuta is 25, so like you said, plenty of time for both to bulk up and improve (hopefully without the laundry list of injuries Ospreay has sustained)

The BCC and JAS seem like they both were supposed to be something much more than what they are now. Seems like the momentum of both groups have been halted to appease Tony's ADHD riddle booking/creative.

Think TK's booking since DoN has been all over the place in general due to the amount of people that have dealt with issues. Since Double or Nothing they lost Adam Cole, CM Punk, Kyle O'Reilly, Bryan Danielson, Santana, Jungle Boy, Jeff Hardy, MJF, Matt Jackson, and Andrade to either injuries, alcohol (Hardy), or jackassery (MJF). He's had to adapt on the fly, and that's showing not to be a strength of his.

Yeah Regal wanted to sign him and Yuta to NXT then Vince decide to axe all of HHH’s guys.

The definition of prodigy is being extremely talented at an early age.

Please tell me how a 23 year old main eventing a wrestling show with a competitive bout against American Dragon is not an example of that.
It's not. Because out of García, Moriarty and Yuta, García is the one that has gotten the least reaction out of the crowd while working with the best wrestler in the world - who also specializes on making his opponent stand out and look great - and in last's weeks main event he couldn't figure out how to take a crowd that was a mix of worried and puzzled by Dragon's selling (therefore there was a lot quietness) and milk it to get big boos and heat, and couldn't capitalize on a shocking ending, that was received with a lot of silence. García doesn't have to know how to do that yet, it's fine that he doesn't and he for sure will eventually because he knows to fukking work, but that right there is a sign he's not a next level talent yet that warrants all these main events.

You add that to every other main event he's had on Dynamite and dude never gets the crowd to react big, he clearly hasn't gotten that kind of connection yet (and that's OK). A "prodigy" for sure would because that's what makes them so damn special.

Getting booked to work main events and win big matches (in AEW and indys) does not necessarily mean that the wrestler automatically is next level. It means people in the business see big value in them, but that also leads to pushes that not always match how over or how much connection said wrestler has with fans. How many times do we see dudes being over pushed in different promotion around the world, do we justify all of them and trust their promotion's judgment just because?

I go back to the Jay White example because he's someone one could ask in hindsight if he deserved the backlash in 2018 because you see him now as a complete wrestler that's on the highest of levels...and the fact is that New Japan did deserve criticism for overpushing him and rushing him out of desperation of losing Omega. Luckily White was talented and mature enough to continue to improve and get much, much better in the years after that initial overpush. He still wasn't THAT good in 2018.

And the fact two legends in the industry were going back and forth on who gets have him in their faction.
I don't think there's a wrestler in the western world that has gotten praised more by colleagues since he debuted than Randy Orton. And that dude is the definition of overpushed (while still being a very good wrestler, at a very young age, when he wants/wanted to be) :yeshrug:

You mean you're not impressed that he "won" a fake tournament in front of 300 neckbeards in a VFW hall??

Triple H has since a bulk of the talent he's wanted all were apart of Battle of Los Angeles

So does that make Hunter a mark as well since he's gonna be head of the WWE table in terms of talent and production?
