What are you people watching? Everyone can work how the hell can you figure out the difference between a wheeler yuda, Sammy, and garcia? They're all interchangeable Caws.
Someone actually called Daniel Garcia a prodigy.

I'm fukking done brehs. :deadrose:
He's 23, can run mains with the best talent out there, that's the definition.

I get that you guys want to be contrarian, but you're just revealing how little you know.

Bryan Danielson being out for as long as he was kinda fukked things up.

Hmmm true but the violence and beatings must go on.

As for the JAS maybe Khan got cold feet about leaning so heavily into an anti-AEW style group after the MJF debacle. But a middle aged faux guru Jericho feeling superior because he mastered his craft at a place that did it "better" with a bunch of young, delusional but hungry lackeys behind him constantly attacking the foundation and fundamentals of AEW would have been pretty entertaining.

Over a Mike Bailey return year that was like he never left.

Dude broke both of his legs three years ago, and he is where he is now.

That's because of his hard work, and because he's been noticed by people that can change his trajectory.

I do agree with @TheGreatShowtime, he was paired with JAS to improve his "performance promo" work, that's where he is undoubtedly lacking...he has a very entertaining Twitter, and his sitdown before his Pure title match with Yuta showed his improvement in delivery.

Imagine him in three more years. He could be a cutthroat champion, his grappling will give people nightmares.

The definition of prodigy is being extremely talented at an early age.

Please tell me how a 23 year old main eventing a wrestling show with a competitive bout against American Dragon is not an example of that.

Yes pairing him with JAS was a long-term booking decision, putting him with BCC would be maximizing what is the best for him in the short term. Which would be find if he was in his upper 30s or in his 40s, but he's 23. You got to put him in the position where he is forced to improve his weaknesses even if it's not the best thing right now.

If you think someone is going to be a star one day, you do what it takes to get him to that level when you need him to be at that level, not wait until you need him at that level and then realizing he's not able to get the job done. If he's not ever ready to be at that level, then so be it, not everyone works out, but don't put yourself or the talent in the position to fail because you're always chasing the short term gains.

I mean that's kinda the same damn reason why WWE is where it's at now. For years now you've only had like 5 people booked as regular threats for the top title and all five of them are part timers or special appearance type talents in Lesnar, Reigns, Rock, Cena, and Goldberg. And they've built up Lesnar and Reigns to be such huge monsters it's frankly unrealistic for just about anyone to beat them. Like look at Summerslam, it took three fukking people beating up on Lesnar and then piling a bunch of shyt on top of him for Reigns to win a last man standing match. You expect anyone to believe that smaller guys like Riddle, Rhodes, Owens, etc. are going to be able to beat him without help?

They keep chasing the short term numbers like viewers, ratings, merch sales while not focusing on building up a collection of talent to carry and grow the business over the next 10 to 20 years.

We already talked about how overrated this dude is. He's ok. Just that and he's been in more main events than most of the AEW roster which is ridiculous. No he's not a prodigy. :bryan: was a prodigy. We need higher standards.

All this talk about him being a prodigy is hilarious

Is he going to somehow grow 3 inches taller or put 40 pounds of muscle on over the next 5 years? Because no matter how many holds he can do, he's still tiny

Clown shyt breh, these fools actually said prodigy. The only reasoning being he won a prestigious scripted tournament that other talented (And some not so much) wrestlers have won or participated in.

That's where we are now.
