:mindblown: How is this a dumb trade for Brooklyn? How?

:heh:he didnt even explain why, he just said it was dumb and ended the segment

Do you not know how NBA contract works? Mosgov was going to get paid this year in LA just to drive to the facility and not do anything else. Mosgov and Deng have the worst contracts in the ENTIRE NBA. They sent Deng home before the season even ended :deadmanny: Straight up told him to his face. We will pay you 18m just to stay in your house and not come to work :deadmanny:

Because the Mozgov contract is just THAT bad. No one wouldve taken it.

We're not contending for a long time, taking that contract was nothing for us. So we got a 21 year old #2 pick in 2015 for an expiring contract and the 27th pick

This is a W for us all day, anyone saying otherwise needs to get their head checked

And that's not saying it cant be a W for the Lakers too if they wind up with their dream scenario. But its an immediate W for Brooklyn

nikkas really traded him for something that had nothing to do with basketball:mjgrin: dudes gonna have a great career

but I think its a good trade if youre going all in with lonzo, as much as people wanna say DLo is a 2, hes not... and a healthy lopez is nothing to sneeze at, thats an all star center

I havent read a post yet in this thread, but this trade seems TERRIBLE for the Lakers, goddamn

Nets came up

Is that the general consensus? @Malta @CantStop fill an overworked breh in please
I disagree. I think the Lakers win this trade for the simple fact that they unloaded that TERRIBLE mosgov contract.

Zubac is ready? :mjlol: Oaf is 2 years away . Brook is a top 5 C. Wow LWO back.

:dwillhuh: But Brooklyn is in a position to handle his contract though, especially in exchange for a young player like Russel. They dont have to pay anyone anytime soon so they could afford to. They dont have any draft picks for now or the forseeable future so they need to basically amass either picks young stars like D-Lo. This is perfect for them.

:what:WTF were they supposed to do sit there with an expiring Brook lopez and hope they strike gold with the 27th pick?

Good trade, Magic. :salute:

Lavar = :blessed:

I know this trade is because they're getting Lonzo and are clearing space for PG. But unless the NBA intervenes behind the scenes, Lakers are NOT getting Lebron. Bron is likely ending his career in Cleveland. But unfortunately, I think the NBA IS trying to make Lebron go to LA. Especially with these reports about Savannah wanting to live in LA full time :patrice:
