The funny part is she doesn't show up again till the most recent arc in the manga.

I legit forgot she showed up that early. I saw her in this arc and she was "my favorite new character" but it turns out, she's been here all along.

Big focus goes on Seiko side, which we haven't seen yet too much. Looks like she has a clue to get Momo back to normal size, but some creepy looking zombies at the end. Honestly, getting a solo Seiko arc is cool. I am not sure if it will happen now or later. Though an arc with just her, Momo and Okarun would feel so right to get Momo back to normal size.

Nice to be back

Big focus goes on Seiko side, which we haven't seen yet too much. Looks like she has a clue to get Momo back to normal size, but some creepy looking zombies at the end. Honestly, getting a solo Seiko arc is cool. I am not sure if it will happen now or later. Though an arc with just her, Momo and Okarun would feel so right to get Momo back to normal size.

Honestly, given how it has established that these various powers can be stolen and given to an individual. I think it leads to a path for Okarun to get her powers again. Since there is still a lot, they could build around regarding Okarun using her powers. Granted, this would come at the expense of Turbo Granny again.

I get the vibe that Okarun getting his powers back (or at least finding a way to protect Momo) has been set up to coincide with Momo getting her size back. Basically, we're trying to restore BOTH MC's rather than just Momo.

We know Turbo Granny and Count Saint Germaine have bad history (she said something about him when she saw him). So, I feel like she HAS to show back up during an arc that focuses on the Count. It's just a matter of how they bring her back, and whether she'll be able to power Okarun up or if he'll need a different conceit (like taking powers from the knives).

I'm also curious if Saint Germaine will recognize the hair piece since it's alien tech...also, I wonder if new girl will wind up getting the attention she'd been missing (possibly inadvertantly stealing it from Aira).

Okarun getting his powers back might happen along the way or shortly after they fix us Momo. In many ways, this can be seen as a training arc for Okarun because we have seen in what shape he is, but how will he use it to his advantage now? That experience could very well enhance his abilities if he were to get Turbo Grannies' powers back if that happens.

They are absolutely setting up a CSG vs TG arc. Where the outcome will be obvious, but how they do it will be interesting. Dandadan has been very much an open sandbox story, kind of like CSM Pt 2. The story itself, if you examine it, there isn't much. Implying the supernatural side of the story because the romance side of it is obviously great. But it is what happens in each arc that is key.

The high levels of fukkery and hilarious situations combined with incredible art and a good simple story

I hope this doesn't fall off anytime soon. So glad I still have like 100 chapters before catching up

All caught up now. I think the only stretch I was bleh about was Momo and Zuma "playing the game", that arc's last third was incredible -specially Zuma's and the officer backstory - but that stretch of chapters inside the board/trunk were the least interesting. But hey, considering they were like 7 out of 176 ch, it just goes to show you how awesome this series is.

I think I'll try to read this every 10 weeks or so to let chapters accumulate. Reading this by arcs seems to be the best way to go (it's how I read SpyxFamily and Tengoku Daimakyou).

I'm very impressed how Tatsu found a way to keep all the side characters relevant throughout this whole thing. They all get to shine, get a funny bit or some development and they never get forgotten. That shyt is very hard to do, specially when you basically add a new member for the gang every 15-30 chapters

The romance is also very well done, Okarun basically having a harem and Momo having to deal with it doesn't get old nor feels unrealistic for the series itself. That's also impressive as hell.

PS: the only character I couldn't stand losing is Mr. Shrimp. Every time he fights I'm like because I don't want Chiquitita to suffer

For weekly stuff, this and Sakamoto Days are as consistent you can get.

Though Akane-banashi is the best in terms of a weekly story tho.

This might be the best choreographed fight Tatsu has drawn. God-damn didn't expect this heat

This and last chapter being our first non Momo & Okarun chapters makes things interesting to see from the adults side. This chapter got me hyped so much.
