Of course the ATL
Yea I watched him say that as I left for work. Ironic thing is that he said that AFTER he had an interview with Costas where he was disagreeing with Costas for his position on gun control. Poor choice of words & Dan will get criticized & rightfully so. It was a dumb oversimplication of an issue he really was talking out of his ass on.

Negativity (Kayfabe)
@laya_4life

Was the OP, the only bit you had of that show (that particular date)? A poster said he "clarified" his remark

I would say this, Hip-Hop culture glorifies guns, that is an undeniable fact.

But to say black people grow up in gun culture is stupid, rednecks grown up in gun culture more.
So does the Republican party. And????
what did i tell yall about Dan Patrick? Theres not one minority workin for him on that show.
Why do you want a brotha/woman/Asian-American/etc. working for him? So he can have a diverse cast of behind kissers?

You do watch/listen to his show, right?
What a sad and lazy generalization.

And Costas just apologized for not giving a thorough and clear explanation.

It was extremely stupid and poorly thought out remark...That being said, It wasn't said out of malice...It was said out of ignorance. So I'm not mad at him, just disappointed in his comments.

Ive noticed these white media dudes say things like this when they have that famous black friend to co sign them so they can say see what i said is not racist black player x agrees with me

Yea, they love it when Jason Whitlock's, fat sambo ass writes an article giving us that "tough love, pull up ya sagging pants, anti hiphop" bs. I can only imagine what he says about us behind closed doors.

anglophiles always try to make white culture seem less repugnant than it actually is--:rudy:...

only an anglophile would believe white people have a purely academic or clinical connection to guns and violence--:comeon:...

I couldn't agree with you more, I can't stand the corporate entity that hip-hop has become.

And 100% corporate heads push negative stereotypes through hip-hop, they fukking destroyed this shyt and it makes me sick.

But dudes like Rick Ross have no problem getting rich off this shyt.

Indeed. You'll always find someone ready to profit off of it. But Americans buy what they feel comfortable with. Black criminality has always been a top seller since Reconstruction and the start of the first census.

I made a thread in the Coli about this topic
