Probably one of his best. He uses the Spanish American War to analyze America's foray into Imperialism and how that desire contrasted with America's proclamations of freedom and anti-colonialism.

Good shyt brehs. I'm listening to the one about Germanic tribes after the fall of Rome. What are his credentials? He calls himself a fan of history but not a historian. Not sure what that means?

In order to be a "Historian" you have to have a PHD..he has other degrees in history but not a PHD..Historians have to do more tedious work than he does..but they can't put out a good podcast....lol

So i've heard some shyt about Rasputen before but just got to the part in the podcast Dan talks about where they are trying to kill him in that basement....dude was possessed or some shyt. It almost reminds of the various scenes in Pain and Gain where the three dudes try to kill the guy they kidnapped and they were just to stupid to get it right.

if that autopsy is correct that :lupe:
Poisoned with cyanide, shot in the chest, back and FOREHEAD, rolled up into and tied up in a carpet and tossed into an icy river. Autopsy showed he had water in his lungs, meaning he drowned.:bryan:
