Dave isn’t 50 yet. I thought his Netflix specials were funny, with Sticks and Stones being the funniest of the bunch. For me, Carlin’s best specials came in the 90s and after when he was already over the age of 50.I said at this point in their careers (in their 50s) and yes that is my opinion. Overall I got Dave ahead of Carlin on my list of Comedy GOATs but his last few specials IMO have been trash and not funny. I get a few chuckles but nothing more and the wisdom he think he bestowing is not that moving or thought-provoking. Like I said with the social, political and economic turmoil of the world we are in, Dave has a lot of material to pull from but he’s sticking with trans/LGBTQ and the shyt just ain’t that funny to me or something I care about enough to hear a nikka speak on for an hour

Damn that’s spot on. Who said that? (I didn’t watch the full clip)Biggest quote is “no one is four specials in a year funny” meaning that NetFlix is potentially cheapening Chappelle’s prestige/brand a bit (I’d say especially to younger audiences) by releasing so much of his content that’s essentially the same.
The irony is that you could potentially argue they’re doing what Comedy Central tried to do, but just more subtlety since they’re giving Dave full creative freedom.
100%. The way Coli slurps his nuts even through he’s basically a right wing cac now is embarrassing.Shout out to an OG. Netflix Chappelle and his get-off-my-lawn white boy adjacent rants against "political correctness" and the lgbt community been jumped the shark. But he has an army of stans that think he the second coming of Malcolm X spreading "knowledge" and not some rich entertainer just looking for a new provocative angle to stay relevant. Cat had a great Comedy Central show that was contributed by a bunch of talented comedic writers and I realize now that's all it is. Neg me bytch.
