Y'all really gotta stop with the hiphop analogies when talking about politics/foreign policy lol.its definitely not BS dude.
The saudi's been using proxies for a LONG ass time (i.e. 9/11) and we just over look it cause the Saudi's basically run the region but we try to exert control over the other plays.
No.
More.
Saudis are about to get reminded that theres LEVELS to this game of geopolitics and THEY are not invited to the table.
Y'all really gotta stop with the hiphop analogies when talking about politics/foreign policy lol.
The source of that quote was really light as the guy who referred to it noted later. Diplomacy really is never that explicit especially between countries that still have relations. Wikileaks affirms this. There is zero chance Bandar used that sort of language with Putin in a face to face meeting, this isn't a movie.
As far as Saudi and proxies go, you need to read up on the history of the Chechen wars yourself if you think this is some sort of proxy war. It's well documented that the foreign involvement of some foreign Arab fighters in the Chechen war happened way after the drive for separation started in the 90s. The Saudi donors were always private wealthy individuals( as is often the case) and their money trail dried up after 9/11. The influence of Arab fighters and any Saudi money in Chechnya all but disappeared after the early 2000's. This is backed up by intelligence reports and scholarly research on the conflict. What continues to drive attacks from the Caucaus are not some Saudi princes pressing buttons in Riyadh but longstanding local grievances that have lasted for centuries. Y'all really trying for an angle that isn't there.
What the hell you talkin about? Everyone knows about the Saudi angle of 9/11.I think you can't read between the lines.
The saudis have BEEEEEEEEEEEEN feeding money to these guys. Hell, even before Osama was doing it in the balkans.
Hell, wikileaks revealed that the saudis have spent tends of billions on sheer radical propaganda and muslim influence all around the world.
Everything else you're saying about the money trail drying up is a distinct lie too. The saudi angle of 9/11 is just now started to get exposed too.
What the hell you talkin about? Everyone knows about the Saudi angle of 9/11.
So basically you are saying there would be no Chechen rebellion if it wasn't for Saudi money? That tells me you know little to nothing about the conflict outside of vague platitudes.
