Suicides in Asia are very common. Like the men kill themselves a lot and the women. Stress and pressure can make desperate people do desperate things. It’s amazing how much black people have gone through and still somewhat keep it together over the decades.

If by keep together you mean drowning in alcohol and weed, ignoring emotions and being willfully ignorant on mental health, yea we doing great.

That being said, you will NEVER be able to convince me that suicide - especially when young children or close loved ones will be left behind - isn't an inherently selfish act. You are intentionally inflicting life-long trauma and pain on the people who loved you the most and leaving them left with nothing but grief and feelings of guilt over what clues they missed or how they could've intervened.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, brehs... if you're feeling suicidal, talk to somebody. Death is final, you can't change your mind once you do it. There's a lot of pain to be experienced on this earth but life is precious and I'd rather be alive to feel it than gone forever. Please talk to somebody who can help.
