A lot of MMA guys spar with world class boxers. The Diaz brothers sparred with Andre Ward regularly, TJ Dillashaw sparred with Lomachenko. I’m not saying Jake isn’t skilled, but it’s easy to look like a world beater when you pick the right opponents. You say every boxer fights bums coming up, what elite boxer ever fought YouTube celebrities and a basketball player coming up?

Covington wasn’t there and Kamaru wasn’t even on camera. I’ve been wanting to make excuses for him too but that’s a hell of a reach. The 1( the left jab) wasn't just a feint to get Masvidal back his chin up directly into the right hand cross, it made Jorge's left hand useless trying to loop a counter hook
I think he meant to follow though and lower Jorges right hand/push it out the way with that jab and that was the real feint
Leaving him handless with his chin already in the air trying to dodge.....it as brutal, but if that was intentional it was also genius frfr.
