It's uncanny to me, breh. I watch every card in boxing and MMA on the weekends, but usually watch the MMA live and DVR the boxing. After watching a long-ass MMA card, it's glaring when I switch over to boxing and see the polish, footwork, and fundamental differences in strategy on display.
If I'm just a fan at home who has trained a little bit, and it's that obvious to me, it blows my mind how many UFC guys who have been pros for years don't seem to grasp it even a little bit. With how wild, sloppy, and one-handed Tyron was in his last fight, I can't fathom why he thinks he knows how to box. And he's a UFC fighter that has put more time into boxing than others. It has to be ego.
You don't see the best triathlon competitors thinking they could fukk with Lance Armstrong on the bike, Michael Phelps in the pool, or Usain Bolt on the track. They do all three of those activities in their sport but understand they don't have the mastery that it takes to do them individually at a high level. Gotta respect the game or else we're going to see a lot of rude awakenings in the near future
