This is what people don't get, if a superstar demands a destination and you don't oblige then good luck signing another superstar in the future. You have to cater to the players in order to look good to future signings. AD wouldn't go to Boston cuz of how they treated IT.

Portland isn't being "forced" to do anything. He has 4 years left on his deal and he does not have a trade clause. Yes, he can tell the team he's traded to he's not playing there but that's all he has. What would he do? Sit out?
