They don't have to. They can let them walk. Have to start prepping years in advance seriously by getting a QB and making sure they get reps whenever possible. It's not a sustainable model for any franchise. This isn't basketball where there are 15 on the roster so you can make the money work.
They don't have to and you're totally right.
But as in the case of what happen to Dallas and Dak, some team going to cave in to public pressure and do so. The same people telling them to do the deal will be the same ones giving them shyt for it when it doesn't work out. Same as what's going on now on First Take.
