That's not forced...that's business.... not necessarily bad business either for QBs... so let's say you got one white boy.... out of that group.... why all of a sudden, when it's a nikka's turn to get his market value(that may not be a top 8 to 10 QB) all of a sudden, the league wanna correct/adjust the market value for QBs

The first half of your argument completely negates the rest of your post.......

If that’s your argument, then Dak’s was business as well as it was essentially the exact same situation. Washington didn’t want to pay Cousins so they tagged him until it wasn’t financially feasible and then let him hit the open market. Dallas did the same thing except they only tagged him once and then gave him the deal he was looking.

People have been complaining for years about the market value for a QB. It didn’t just start with Dak. It’s going to come up again when Baker gets his deal as it’s no way that he’s worth $35+ million a year. This conversation does not end since Dak got his bread.

Naw, your argument is based on nothing.

But I'll let you get your Fake Militant on. :yeshrug:

I would take his points more serious if there hasn’t been an active discussion and complaint for years about average level QBs getting paid outrageous amounts of money.

The conversation didn’t just start with Dak. So using Dak as the hill to die on is disingenuous when people complained about other average white QBs getting overpaid as well. It will be the same people making threads and comments clowning Dallas for giving him the deal when they obviously didn’t want to do so in the first place.

You avoided the point.... first and foremost.... white boys don't have to wait on their money whether they qualified or not.... and Cousins is one of the top 20 NFL players(active) highest paid NFL players ever.... like I said, franchise tags on QBs in the modern era not bad business at all for the modern QB......you get a guaranteed top 5 salary, and if your performance doesn't drop off, you get a long term top end deal the following year.... you essentially damn near doubled up in earnings......

Cousins and Flacco did have to wait on their money though and that’s a fact. Doesn’t matter that he had to play through the franchise tag. He still had to wait in order to get his long term deal same as Dak. The amount of the franchise tag is irrelevant to the conversation as long term money in the NFL is what matters which is why players in general hate the tag.

You asked for white QBs who had to wait on their bread and I gave them to you. Now you’re moving goalposts away from your original point.

And it's funny that these fools don't look at the recent history of Todd France clients.

Justin Simmons and Bud Dupree are both getting a second franchise tag.

Broncos and Steelers aren't stupid enough to cave into Todd France ridiculous demands like the dumbass Cowboys.

Exactly

Flacco and Cousins both had to play out their contracts.

He’s proving my point without even realizing it. He’s using the franchise tag for Kirk Cousins as an excuse when it essentially means that a player is having to wait in order to get a long term deal.

That’s exactly what happened to Dak as neither one of those dudes are a top tier QB and had to wait and get their bread. He’s speaking as if we have never seen this situation before in the NFL with a white average QB.

You actually didn't.... It's the economics that matter.... . now why you can't see that..... well.... :mjpls: and I can give you a dozen or so white boys(QBs especially) that got the brinks truck backed up to em without even asking really....

Kirk Cousins To Cowboys Dak Prescott: 'The Franchise Tag Is Your Friend'

No.... you don't understand what you're talking about...... hence my previous post.... Kirk Cousins said out of his own damn mouth that the QB franchise tag IS YOUR FRIEND....... and any agent would agree..... over compensating mediocre white QBs in the NFL is an aged tradition now....... a nikka with Kirk Cousins skillset would have got cut......

You asked for an example of a QB who didn’t automatically get the brinks trunk that they wanted. I gave you Kirk Cousin and Joe Flacco. What you’re saying about the franchise tag doesn’t mean shyt as he still had to wait to get his long term bread. Same as Dak did with no difference.

So you can hop off the :mjpls: as it won’t work on this one breh. Nice try though.

It don’t matter what Kirk Cousins says. The only reason he played under the tag was because Washington didn’t want to give him the contract that he was asking for. So he used it as leverage to get a long term deal. He had no other choice but to play under the tag or sit out the season. Same as Dak would have had to do if Dallas tagged him.

Players out here want no part of the franchise tag. Don’t let what Kirk Cousins said let you think otherwise. Long term money is what matters in the NFL.

:laff:

You barely gave one that kind of doesn't even count when you think about it..... and that's Flacco.... you haven't given me shyt........ You talking about Cousins had to wait on his money when he got over 60 million guaranteed from that inept ass organization whose name we will not speak of for being wildly average...... who the fukk yall think yall talking to? Where in this God Forsaken country is being paid top 5 money while being mediocre.... waiting on your money? :dead:
