Have you heard him speak? He doesn’t have the gravitas to be a head coach. Probably why his alma mater, the school he put on the map decided to go a different direction.

Jerry and Stephen like him, that's all that matters...

It will matter that Dak likes him, since Dak is going to be our QB for the next 10 years

Garrett is probably going to get ran out of New York after being the OC for 1 year but somehow he was able to be the cowboys coach for 8 ?

The second Fat Thumb is out of here Toddler will be the coach...

But if they fire MM that means his era was a failure. There’s going to be pressure to hire from the outside. Jerry and Stephen are fond of Riley.

Idk breh, he may be on to something

Did Toddler turn down Boise or was it the other way around :patrice:

If he turned them down, it sounds eerily similar to Garrett turning down Hc offers to stay here as OC due to a promise from Jerruh that he’d get the job later on :francis:

he went to Boise State, but he’s not from there. If I was in his position, I wouldn’t have taken the job. It would be hustling backwards. And it’s not the same as Garrett. Garrett turned down NFL HC gigs including one of the most stable organizations management wise in Baltimore.

Moore’s trajectory is trending up. His development of Dak, and what he’s been able to do this year speaks to the level of his offensive mind.

And like I’ve said previously, I don’t know why the national sports media keeps thinking McCarthy is calling the plays. This is pretty much all Moore.

Garret era was a failure. We literally had a HOF caliber quarterback damn near his whole time here. Does the Jones family care ? Nope. Garrett is gone because his contract ran out and they didn't owe him anymore money, note because he was an awful coach. If he had two more years on his deal he would still be here.

Outside pressure means nothing to Jerry. He had outside pressure for years to get rid of garrett and peg leg, didn't do it until their contracts were up. He had outside pressure to trade Romo when it became clear Dak was the starter...he held on to his contract until Romo retired. He had outside pressure to find some compromise with the players on kneeling, he told them everybody is going to stand and that is that.

I believe when McCarthy got here there was a story about how the one coach he couldn't get rid of was Toddler ? The one thing that people say that Fat Thumb is good at is calling plays, but he can't even get his own OC ?

Fat Thumb got 4 more years left on his deal. And Jerry will be just fine waiting 4 more years to make Toddler the coach.

MAYBE on the very last year of his deal, Jerry would fire Fat Thumb 5 or 6 games in...so he would only owe him the rest of his money for that season :mjlol:

You make it seem like Jerry and Stephen actually care about winning football games. They don't.

They were found of Riley before they hired Fat Thumb. And then they hired Fat Thumb and not Riley...
