There's a chance this may work out for the Boys in the next 4-5 years IMO.What yall think about Toddler leaving for Boise?
Insiders have raved about him being a football savant and eventually being a coach, so this was inevitable.
Lowkey, I wanted him as HC after Garrett's firing because I just wanted to shift to these younger coaches (ie. McVay, Kingsbury, Rhule, Riley, etc) who continue to bring fresh changes to the game.
That would probably be too extreme of a move because of his lack of coaching exp, so him going to Boise and getting his feet wet is the best move. It gives McCarthy complete ownership of the team, so we can see
what he can do w/o any excuses for the next few yrs. If it doesn't work out and Kellen is a success at Boise, maybe the Jones can start greasing the wheels on Kellen's return.
He's been treated well here so hopefully, in this hypothetical future, he'll be that new fresh, young coach I've desired instead of these retreads.

He should take it tbh. Its a dream situation for him. Do you think Fat Garrett will take over playcalling duties or hire another OC?
