Weauxdie. Seattle was playing PREVENT which is designed to take away BIG PLAYS and allow underneath throws to the center of the field. They played that coverage well. Dak took what was available and was actually marched down the field doing so.

You're asking him to play perfect in order to beat the design of the defense. That's dumb as fukk. You attack the prevent by going underneath. Period. That's basic football.

Wrong. They were playing 2-man coverage

Unlike Cover 2 with the “Mike” linebacker running the inside vertical seam—and the cornerbacks sinking outside—there is no protection down the middle of the field in 2-Man.

And that can force safeties to widen, sit short or open their hips—exposing the top of the coverage

To sit here and say Dak’s ONLY option was to throw checkdowns is mindblowingly foolish

nikkas really mad at Dak for this game? nikka had nearly 500 yards and we almost beat a really good team. Our defense is completely depleted...so Russ carved us up...as expected. Our O Line is completely depleted so Dak had no time to throw...as expected. We should have been more aggressive about scoring a TD on that 2nd to last drive. Silly silly mistakes on special teams hurt us bad. Penalties hurt us bad.

Preseason is now officially over. Reinforcements on D and O line will be here in a few weeks. Zeke had a horrible game which aint gonna happen every week. Still gon win our division. And we currently still in the lead. Don't give up yet brehs
