North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
So the Redskins quickly bag a quality head coach and defensive coordinator...

:francis:Meanwhile Jerry Jones is holding a third meeting with Garrett.

My theory, is he's put out feelers and it may be a case of all the guys he wanted to replace Jerry with doesn't want to work for him.

If that's the case, he may think that Garrett is the best option available.

Or maybe he hasn't offered them enough money to join, HC & coordinators aren't capped.

Why are some of y'all so enamored with these college coaches?
:mindblown:
Probably because NFL offenses have borrowed and copied college offenses for the past few years.
The same way teams are changing their philosophies on QBs (Murray, Mayfield, Lamar) and RBs, they're probably changing their thoughts
on college coaches. They've always been options but not at this frequency.

I too get excited about possibly bringing in a good offensive mind from college, but it's probably better overall to go for hot NFL coordinators
who have paid their dues in the pros and know the NFL structure, ie., Bienemy, Roman, etc.

Lets keep it 100%

The NFL and the media :eat: off the Cowboys brand all season.

Now that the playoffs are here, the biggest story line this week is the status of Jason Garrett's job.

Deep down, the NFL wishes the Cowboys were in the playoffs.

There are no compelling subplots. Either the market is boring, too regional, has aging starts or simply not that good of a team.

Cowboys success means more money for NFL and higher ratings
Damn shame how :trash: we are and still put in high as ratings and team value still highest in the world
NFL needs us
Similar to MLB and Yankees success
