You aren't even in the right mindset for me to try to attempt to explain it to you....

I doubt anyone has a mindset to hear anything justifying slavery.

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. ...

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. You see, in all of the verses that retain to adoption , I have not found one having the word "sell" or "property" in them. not one except for the quote that I gave you earlier and that was on the condition that slave did not "please" her master and that she married her masters son.:scust::scust:

Any who , you refuse to see the fact that your doctrine accepted and condoned slavery - both in the new and the old testament. Its almost like you are playing the game cognitive dissonance, in which the player becomes an apologist for a 3000 year old book that was used as an tool of our bondage........

No one in this thread is justifying slavery as defined 2,000 years AFTER the text was written.

That's because it wouldn't be in that text. It would be in judicial documents. They actually had courts back then.

Which doesn't mean much of anything.

LOL, I'm a Theological Noncognitivist so I have no doctrine save follow the evidence wherever it goes.

The text doesn't condone slavery as it came to be in Colonial America. That argument is weak and thoroughly refuted by archaeology.

The Constitution of the United States on the other hand..........
