No argument from me. I’d only add that we shouldn’t assume it’s tied to white folk of conforming. I PERSONALLY don’t like young kids with braids n dreads
To me it’s psychological. Why does the military mandate no hair or facial hair (for all races) To me it’s about structure.
But of course, bc of the times we in, there’s gon be folk ‘that’s stupid, why can’t I do what I want’……Which is basically the point. Can you handle not being able to do whatever you want. A foreign concept to some
I feel like we need picture references. A fade shouldn’t be the only option for a young black boy.
Who said the kids in those pics are “black Americans” Since we goin by ‘FBA’ rules n all…just bc they look “black ” don’t mean anythingYou are African you are not "we"
Stop stereotyping Black Americans
The child did NOT want his haircut, and that’s whose opinion matters.
if he wanted the boy's hair off, he at minimum could've taken him to a professional. the kid is probably getting roasted as i typeDad's manage the sons hair. Mom's manage the daughters. That's black testament.
You see it.Her baby was hurt and embarrassed so the 1st thing she did was post in online for the world to see
Being roasted ain't a bad thing. You develop coping skills. How to ignore, how to fire back. Might even have to fight.if he wanted the boy's hair off, he at minimum could've taken him to a professional. the kid is probably getting roasted as i type
he's been a boy before. he knows how boys roast one another. why would he set his son up like that with that jacked up cut?
mom needs to let the boy stay home until they can get him a haircut.
