Why do you think we're better than Cleveland?

Cleveland may have more talent with LeBron, we have the better team. The big advantage they had with Thompson/Mozgov can now be offset by inserting Tiago to battle on the boards against them. We literally only rotated Pero Antic against them last year


Teague has taken another step.

Dennis has taken another step.

Al has taken another step.

Bazemore has taken another step.

Milsap and Korver continue to be consistent and even better in some areas.

We have multiple wings to throw at LeBron with Baze, Thabo, Holiday.

We have multiple bigs that can battle the boards with Tiago, Muscala, and Taveres.

Teague/Dennis is as good of a PG combo you'll get in the NBA right now.

What about Kyrie and Love who barely played that series?

Kyrie is cancelled out, if not outplayed by Teague/Schro. Love is a better matchup for Paul/Al than Thompson. Injuries actually worked in their favor in that series.

Horford/Milsap can both beat love in a matchup. The Teague that has been playing so far this year will give Kyrie hell on the defensive end.

They're a more talented team, were a more balanced and better coached team, but I think even if you assume that every player on our roster has/will improve I can't see that improvement offsetting what CLE can throw at us. I just don't see it breh, I think with our improvements we get a couple wins vs. them but I don't see us being better than them in a potential playoff series...not with this current team

Teague is scoring/playing on a higher level this year, Baze will be a better scorer than Carroll by the end of the season, Splitter is a better scorer than Antic, and THJR is a better scorer than John Jenkins

This why I didn't agree with @AVXL when he said Milsap hasn't been good this year. You have to look at the overall picture, Teague scoring is up, Baze scoring is up, Al's scoring is up, Dennis scoring is up, and now you have Tiago that's adding 8-9 ppg which you weren't getting out of the backup Center position last year. Someone's numbers has to fall with those additions. Millsap is still doing Everything else though

None of that offsets what Lebron bring to the table bruh. They bring up so much playmaking offensively anything they bring defensively is a bonus. Don't get me wrong I think we can be competitive against them and if we get a break here and there we might pull it off but I think theyre the better team.

I don't think an improved Bazemore, Thabo & Holiday is enough to overcome Bron & a streaky JR in a playoff series. True JR did blackout on us, but he has a tendency to do that and has the skill set to do that whenever. I think it's dangerous to try and guess who & who won't be injured too...we don't know how out team will look 6 months from now. I think at best our off season additions nets us a couple of wins vs. CLE, but I don't see us as 4 out of 7 games better than them. Sorry brehs

Im not predicting we stay healthy. I can only go off how healthy we are now. Just like im not predicting any cavs injuries. Thats irrelevant. Healthy, we are a better TEAM than the cavs.

Also, JR CAN go off like he did, but if he did more often than not he wouldnt be a journey man. I mean he hasn't done much of anything this year so far

I think we addressed the rebounding with Splitter & Tavares (even tho we're still vulnerable to bigger teams inside), but it's the playmaking ability of Bron & Kyrie and JR that really concern me the most. They're all capable of being elite level shot creators...I don't know if we have done enough to upset that, but we'll see. I think we have as good a chance as anybody in the East to see them again in the ECF

Cleveland is not that scary bro. Sooo many things went wrong for us last time. Lost korver, lost demarres production, and lost horf for a game. It was too much to overcome
