I feel like this makes a lot of assumptions on what I think Kendrick is.

I think Kendrick is a California spitter. I don't think he's a lyrical juggernaut, I don't think he's super hotep neo-revolutionary. I think he's a black man from California who had the sense to learn himself about some shyt, but the thing he learned most about was rap. And he has talent at it. I don't look to him to be enlightened. I don't even really look to him for bars like that.
But when he give a shyt, he can spit, and he has Cali energy and that shyt's my native tongue.
That's what I go to Kendrick for

KRIT one of my personal favorites all time, and CyHi nice... but I can't go to neither of them for what I just talked about

because he's not, where people get this super neo hotep lyrical style from is beyond me. kendrick is the guy that was chilling around gang bangers, went to therapy and learned about himself and his family nothing more

the person that is the lyrical juggernaut and neo-revolutionary out of TDE is ab-soul he's what ppl think kenny is.
