V lore wise has to be close to a god

I remember when Mafia 2 came out they basically made a world and put a pretty good linear story in there. People were mad as fukk you couldn't get up to the usual GTA fukkery when the story killed any GTA. It's like that didn't matter

I don't think there was any way around making Night City but at the same time, you make a city with cars and shyt it immediately draws parallels to the GOAT. I think they realized what they'd gotten themselves into very early on which is why it took so long and they still fukked up in the end.

Anime embodied the game, action was vicious, but you could tell the plot was a afterthought on some day in the life of a NC born runner s***. TBF game was like that as well lol​
