Why the hell couldn't David slow down on the Cyberware :dahell: ? or Lucy just tell David reason she ain't back is cause she's constantly protecting him from Netrunners :dahell: ? Anime embodied the game, action was vicious, but you could tell the plot was a afterthought on some day in the life of a NC born runner s***. TBF game was like that as well lol
It’s remarked/half explained in the anime that you need cyberware to keep up with other cyberware users and the more cyberware you get the better jobs you get. A big issue with the Sandvistan was it was tearing up David’s body as it couldn’t handle the strain.

It’s better to view it as David being dead the moment his mother was killed. Like what Jimmy told Nicky when he said he died in the trenches. Even before that he was smart enough to even instinctually that there was no escaping Night City. His mother worked her ass off to send him to an elite school yet she was killed in a random gun fight. People wondering why didn’t David have a dream for himself. Well, because he wasn’t an idiot. Even Adam Smasher wonders if he would make a good construct because of his abilities and David tells him to fukk off. He didn’t want to live for ever and was happy Lucy got away. That was what he found meaning in and it’s just as pure as any other motivation for living.

Smasher on the other hand clings to life to such a degree he let himself be made into a robot with no human connections or emotions. Ironic that Smasher gets taken out by a guy V who is just as obsessed with living as he is. I mean the special ending on Cyber punk is V going into space for one final heist that may save his life and not running away with panam for 6 months or becoming an engram. V was on some :demonic:when it came to his life that Arasaka couldn’t contend with

About to start episode 6. I swear Maine, Rebecca and Lucy better not die at the end of this show. :mjcry:

Loved the game but I don't really like anime that much because they're all the same-ish to me.
Is it worth it anyway?

I started this show thinking I was going to like it. I LOVED it. :salute:to the creators of this show. It's not on some GOAT Anime shyt but it's an epic ride. I watched 7 episodes two nights ago (I was hooked). Finished the last three last night
I literally shed a thug tear at the end:mjcry:In the words of Travis Scott "He was too involved with the street life" Only way to live in Night City, a lot don't make It there. Lucy making It out being David's (own) dream. And to think they met randomly on public transportation. The moon/Earth scene was a beautiful final shot.

Watch this show brehs if you haven't already. Watch It dubbed because it's actually dubbed fantastically for once. Watch It preferably at night to. It's definitely worth it. The episodes are short, and even shorter if you skip the intro, and outro (which isn't so easy because those two songs are fire). The music is really good in this show. I really enjoyed it's character's. I think they did a great job considering how quick the episodes end.
