also this show was so fire, but it's kind of bullshyt that it put Cyberpunk back in everyone's good graces, same thing kinda happened with Arcane and League. Love the shows we're getting, but I'm not feeling the publicity tactics.

There's gonna be a yearly Madden and 2k anime adaptation before we know it

Damn really thought this was dope as someone who spent hella hours in the game. The next game definitely needs to have a squad of characters you can take on missions with you. the game lacks a lot

The concept of going cyber-crazy was interesting. Too much chrome

It's not just the chrome. It's heavily implied in the setting, not just the game and anime that your environment and who you are is a large part of it. IIRC Pondsmith himself said to think of it on like an empathy scale. If you have high empathy, you can hold out longer like David but eventually the world (and its pressures) and the chrome will get to you. Adam Smasher is the exception because you gotta imagine he started human with 0 or negative empathy. The world and people mean barely anything to him. Same reason why Maelstrom dudes don't all go cyberpsycho, they fully lean into it/embrace it and already buck the world. Cyberpsychosis is basically your mind/body trying to handle you losing your humanity.
