Strongly seems like they prioritized inter-connectivity of mission play over everything else, because there are some interesting twists there that play out almost like those old choose-your-story-path books.

I had the alert when I started my game that my file is corrupted and hit the at my TV and pressed load game and it was there . The message itself might be a glitch

You don’t lose your entire save file. You just lose the one that got you over the limit.

Dude played for 140 hours and OMG he has to wait for an update to continue that one character.
