Some sweats and Scottie Pippens“
:ahh:

I wasn’t aware til i seen them talking about it on IG, i’m in for Gangsta Gibbs and ALC.

Freddie and ESGN been on the pods lately.

Yup he is the chameleon of rap. He can do East Coast boombap....Bay area funk beats, trap, super sample shyt.

He does go into cruise control on trap shyt which is why i wasnt super into Freddie album. Its almost too easy for him.

Id love to hear a Daytona style album from him[/QUOTE]

Factual statements.

That would be brazy on gawd.

I'm ready to pay.
Me too. I hope it's on streaming platforms. Covert Coup and Carrollton Heist both still aren't on any.

I remember we were supposed to get an album from Gibbs and ALC called Devil's Palace. I guess this'll do. The snippets all sound dope so far.

I knew it was pretty common for a single record to be done that way (ex. artist A featuring artist B)

but I didn't know entire joint projects where done that way

I mean, this sound like they werent in the studio together at all lol

anyways, I'm sure it will still be dope

but how more dope could it have been if they were actually in the studio vibing?
Yeah, most projects that Alchemist produces entirely are recorded with everyone together. He doesn't like mailing work around. When people have asked him why he's not working with Nas anymore, etc, he usually is like "If Nas comes through the house we'll work." Madlib is the same. To work with Madlib you've basically gotta be there. 9th Wonder is also like that to an extent. More producers prefer to vibe in person.

But rappers to rappers is different.

But Currensy has always emailed beats out to people to get songs finished. On the last project with Currensy and Alchemist, Currensy finished all of his verses and then mailed stuff out for all the guests on that project.

With big label projects I'm pretty sure almost no one works together in the studio that much anymore. On indie projects it's definitely more common for people to work in the studio together.

like i said, other than domo's shyt. he's :trash:
The ironic part is most people got that project for Al and not Domo. Domo did step his game up though. Honestly among Al fans that project is generally considered one of Al's worst ones.

I fukked with at least half of the beats on there but I'm an Al fan so :yeshrug:
