I’m in the minority of this but I thought Wale did a good job with that verse. With that said, I saw a clip of them recording the record together in the studio. Spitta lowkey seemed annoyed with Wale because Wale started acting goofy on these drums in the studio. Spitta was rolling weed with the :beli: face
I remember some other footage. I think Roddy was in the studio too and they were looking at that nikka with the :rudy:. Wale was trippin and even insinuated something about Wiz and Amber. Something to the affect of "Your homeboy wifing h.. nevermind" but he stopped midway and read the room. Wale energy was just lame in the studio and I like his verse and chorus but he could've just emailed that shyt. Maybe the label pushed for his verse to be first just a weird placement.

Here’s the video. Around the 2:30min mark. I may have misjudged it. I watched it when it was uploaded and that was kinda my thought. I was a Wale fan then but maybe I just thought he seemed annoying

a lot of people thought the same thing about how wale was acting in the viddeo. But I believe he was recording in the same studio but a different room. Spitta asked him to hop on the song when he stopped to say “hi”

Yeah that clip I watched kinda put me off on Wale.
Speaking of Bales I was just listening to it Friday and Roddy went straight off on Certified. Man I miss the chemistry him, Roddy, and Trademark had. OG Jet Life was amazing

Yeah the OG Jet Life was good. Cornerboy P grew on me tho. I couldn’t stand him at first.

The Type grew on me over time. Both spitta and prodigy was on that boss tip and the beat was great.
I’ve never really heard a beat before or after that with that type of sound. It’s almost like it never finishes. It keeps flowing and changing directions. One of the samples is from a PlayStation racing game too. Real trippy music. I don’t know if anyone could’ve made that beat sober.

Spitta gibbs KRIT

:blessed:

I was old enough to know I should enjoy what I was hearing, if u know what I mean.. Getting older, things would change... enjoy it while you can.. That type of thing

I could not split the three artists I mentioned at the time... They all brought out quality

It's still there breh. As long as you're cool with a plain black vinyl. Unlimited pre-order until sometime next week. :salute:

Covert Coup (LP - Black Vinyl)

Alc doesn't do limited quantities on plain black LPs anymore. He keeps them up for about a week so that everyone that wants one can get one without worrying about bots or resellers.
