it's like this EVERY morning on some lines. i been dealing with this shyt for the past three weeks. i have to keep checking myself from getting heated....it's "customary" here to get shoved and pushed on the train or in the stations. i walk with my elbows out and plow through when necessary...especially when people don't move when it's my stop.

LOL

First Of All Lets Just Say That The City's Ignorance Is What Got Them Here, Lets Be Real They Didn't Give A fukk About "Signals" Until It Became A Big Problem. I'm A Nobody In Transit, Just A Regular Ass Employee, But I'm Sure These Things Have Come Up In Meetings For Years But The City Rather See The Money Go Toward Things Like Making The Stations Look Better.

The City Is Going To Blame Transit, Transit Is Going To Blame The City, And The Ones Who Get Cursed At, Spit At, Attacked And Thrown Stuff At Will Be The Employees On The Road Who Just Wanna Bring The Train From One End To The Other Without Any Incident And Have Nothing To Do With Signal Malfunctions.

I use to work for the city too, the fukkin worse :mjlol:

This is a problem of such magnitude that any solution will cause as much pain if not more than the actual problem.
The NYC subway system is a city under the city, just let that sink in.

i'm not smart or wise enough to offer any solutions but i do recognize a cluster fukk when i see one.

Even though NYC subway operates in the city it's the sole responsibility of the state of NY and Gov

I also took the train today nothing too crazy happened but I laughed at how f'ing bad it's gotten shyt changed from local to express then discontinued(I haven't taken the train in idk 5-6 month)

Cuomo and di blasio have big time beef, so cuomo is sending state troopers to patrol NYC to piss di blasio off

I used to love taking the subway when I was younger. It's a shame what it's become.

This city just seems like it's robbing people, if this was always the case it's especially blatant now.

Things always hit rock bottom when democrats are running things. I can't wait to vote republican for mayor and governor.

N Train Shuffle: Coney-Bound N Trains To Skip Seven Stations For 1.5 Years

The N train shuffle returns:
Prepare for another year of station closings on the century-old N line in southern Brooklyn.

From July 31 to the end of 2018, seven Coney Island-bound platforms will be closed for a $395.7 million MTA renovation project, officials announced on Friday. During the year-plus timeline, N trains will run express from Eighth Avenue to Coney Island.

The stations, which see about 53,000-weekday straphangers, will get much-needed upgrades to track infrastructure, and also features like accessibility-compliant platforms, new lighting, stairways, and handrails; repairs to canopies and columns, and new artwork, MTA officials say.

Here’s what you need to know

Trains will run express from Eighth Avenue to Coney Island, skipping:

-Fort Hamilton Parkway
-New Utrecht Avenue
-18th Avenue
-20th Avenue
-Kings Highway
-Avenue U
-86th Street stations
*Eighth Avenue and Bay Parkway will have construction crews, but trains will continue to drop off passengers on temporary platforms.

These are the same stations whose Manhattan-bound platforms opened in May after being shuttered for a year and a half.

To get to these stations, take the N train to Bay Parkway or Coney Island and transfer to a Manhattan-bound train.

The project was funded through the 2010–2014 MTA Capital Program.
