I remember that from my FB feed... Man sometimes you can't even get no sleep gotta be aware of all your surroundings..
They should shut the subway system down completely for 5 years.Rebuild the entire subway system(Trains,Rails,subway stations,technology,camera system,exterminate the rats,etc).Increase the number of buses to cover for lost of subway service.Have the buses duplicate the same routes as the trains.....I'm sure most people would be against this,but we need to make the short term sacrifice for the long term gain.
Sir you'd kill the ny economy. The city absolutely cannot function without the subway system.
Omg you don't even want to know how bad car traffic would be if that happened.
I've tried to read up on this and just got overwhelmed 
Short term ? Yes.....but imagine the long term economic boom ?..(Faster trains,more businesses,Wifi/Internet access,etc)
Whether you agree with my plan or not,the subway system needs an overhaul.

The problem has been an emphasis on real estate. The money that's been used to convert old warehouses into multimillion dollar condos or building luxury comdos dwarfs the MTA budget.
And most of the owners of that real wage don't even live in New York and in a lot of cases don't even live in America

I love NYC but I don't feel bad, most of yall chose to live in that overpopulated city
